I have been waiting anxiously to post these. I took them several weeks ago, but their wedding wasn’t until last weekend, so I couldn’t share these until now. We started out the shoot at the St. George Temple. I am also such fan of doing the bride/groom formal shots before the wedding. I really do wish that it would have been more common when I got married, way back in the film days when photographers took like 3 whole roles of film at a wedding resulting in a couple dozen proofs being delivered. Can you tell I am a little bitter about it? That was a whole 8 years ago, crazy huh.

We got lucky with the sky. The Mill Flat wildfire was burning and provided the awesome backdrop.

And finally we ended the shoot overlooking the St. George temple. I took several with the temple more in focus, but what can I say, I am a sucker for city light bokeh. The big white blob in the lower left corner of the frame is the St. George temple.

What an awesome couple. Their reception was a lot of fun too. That post is still to come.

Wow those are awesome formals! Great bokeh & sunset! I shot portraits during that fire too so it was a plus for photogs but not for people in New Harmony!
